The Educogym Book Club: Who Moved My Cheese?

Here at a Educogym we aim to thrive both physically and mentally, and while good nutrition and training may cover the physical side of things, sometimes that mental willpower needs an extra shove in the right direction, so we give you The Educogym Book Club, where we recommend the books that have motivated us and improved our lives. As our first recommendation we decided to go for something simple, that everyone can easily sink their teeth into (no pun intended)! Get reading...

Who Moved My Cheese? An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life, published in 1998, is a  motivational book by Spencer Johnson written in the style of a parable or business fable.

It describes change in one's work and life, and four typical reactions to said change by two mice and two "littlepeople", during their hunt for cheese. A New York Times business bestseller since release, Who Moved My Cheese? remained on the list for almost five years and spent over 200 weeks on Publishers Weekly's hardcover nonfiction list.

Less than an hour's read, the values learned from Who Moved My Cheese? will last its readers a lifetime. It is obvious that the key to the effectiveness of this short tale is its simplicity - Johnson gets his point across by sticking to the bare minimum, in an enjoyable, yet valuable children's style parable for the adult reader.

A truly enlightening story that will change its reader's attitude and zest for life, and whether the principles of Cheese are something you are already familiar with or not, there's a message in the text for everyone...
